On view through May 21 at the Musée du Quai Branly, Une fenêtre sur les confluences (A Window on the Confluences) offers an in-depth examination of the Musée des Confluences, which opened in Lyon at the end of 2014. Through a selection of iconic works from its collections, the installation explores the links between humans and their environment since the dawn of time. Beginning at the origins of humanity and encompassing the globe, various themes such as “The diversity of the world”, “The beauty of the ordinary” and “Insects and humans” are approached. The event also addresses the history of the museum through a few key figures whose contributions are fundamental.
