The major dealers in the arts of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas will gather in the heart of Paris once again for Parcours des Mondes 2017, running September 12–17. This sixteenth edition of the world’s leading international tribal art fair will feature twenty-seven thematic exhibitions as well as special programming and events. For the first time in its history, Parcours des Mondes will emphasize the connections between non-European art and other artistic milieu, including that of contemporary art. This year’s edition of the event will also place special emphasis on French Polynesia, in conjunction with the launch of an important new reference book on tapa cloth.
