‍
Thembisile Nxumalo is a South African ceramicist from KwaZulu-Natal who trained under master potter Jabulile Nala. Working within the Zulu pottery tradition, she creates hand-coiled vessels using locally sourced clay. Her forms are carefully burnished and pit-fired, producing rich earthy tones, dark fire markings, and lustrous surfaces.

Her work is represented in the permanent collection of the Davis Museum at Wellesley College.
